Analisis Strategi Efektif Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Siswa Sekolah Dasar

The ability to read in elementary school students is an important foundation for academic development and critical thinking skills in the future. However, many students face various obstacles in mastering this skill, such as limited interest in reading, inadequate learning environment support, or difficulty understanding. This research aims to examine the factors that influence the difficulties experienced by students. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews. Data collected through direct observation of learning activities, teacher-student interactions, physical conditions of the school. The research results show that students in lower classes still have obstacles in reading, so they must have suitable strategies to overcome these obstacles. The research results show that the strategy that will be used to overcome these obstacles is using a variety of and interesting reading books, school libraries, providing computers, tablets or e-readers containing various kinds of digital books. This research provides an illustration of the urgency to pay more attention to developing students' reading abilities from an early age.
