Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum provides space for teachers to innovate in the teaching and learning process. This research aims to explore teacher innovations within the Merdeka Curriculum through interview methods. The study involved teachers from various schools across Indonesia, with data collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews. The results show that teachers implement various innovations within the Merdeka Curriculum, including student-centered learning approaches, where teachers design lessons that focus on students' needs and interests; the use of technology to enhance learning, such as online platforms, educational videos, and learning apps; various assessment methods to measure student learning achievements, such as observations, projects, and portfolios; and collaboration with parents to support student learning through close communication. This research provides an overview of the innovations implemented by teachers in the Merdeka Curriculum and can serve as inspiration for other teachers to innovate and improve the quality of education in schools.
